The kids and I finished our Fairy Garden today. I love doing this with them because it really brings out their whimsical side. Daughter A swears that she saw a fairy sitting on the roof of the house when she walked outside.
I had to make a new house because the old real estate was starting to fall apart after a few years and we didn’t want the fairies to stay away because of an old broken down house.
Fairies are attracted to bling so we added some bright shiny things to the house.
It gets really hot here in North Carolina so we provide a dipping pool made out of a shell for the fairies. They like to sit and dip their toes in.
You can add whatever you like to your Fairy Garden. We found these cute kitten figurines at a yard sale and knew they would have to go into our garden. Fairies love cute animals.
We added a couple little fairy dolls to let the real fairies know that our garden is “fairy friendly.”
We added a path of sea glass to the house. You can add whatever type of plants and items to a fairy garden that you like. If you like it, the fairies will like it, too!
Do you have a fairy garden?

Cute, cute, cute! I have always wanted to do a little fairy garden and I am sure my kids would love to help. Thanks for the inspiration!
What a beautiful lil garden! So pretty the 1st photo! I’d visit if I were a fairy. So cute that A saw a real fairy!
Thanks. She said that she saw one today sitting on one of the purple flowers. I just love how the garden inspires their imagination.
