L got a new fish last Friday and I thought it looked a little fat, but it swam around and ate normally and was still alive each morning so I didn’t think much of it.  Until this morning when the kids came running upstairs to tell me that there were 2 baby fish in the tank.  Great. And I say great with the most amount of sarcasm that I can.

Within a half hour the tank was filled with 20 little baby fish.  I think it was 20 – it’s hard to count those little guys.  Now what do I do??!!  I think that the bigger fish eat the young so that should take care of some of them, a couple already look like they didn’t make it, but that still leaves a lot of baby fish.

Of course, the kids think this is wonderful and exciting fun.  Me, I think this is one other thing that I have to deal with today.  sigh.
